Summary

The journey to 100 friends begins with a single conversation。

Socially anxious high school student Shoko Komi’s greatest dream is to make some friends, but everyone at school mistakes her crippling social anxiety for cool reserve。 Luckily she meets Tadano, a timid wallflower who decides to step out of his comfort zone in order to help her achieve her goal of making 100 friends。

Komi’s friendship quest just hit its first major obstacle—the green-eyed monster! Tadano and a girl named Mine have been hanging out a lot lately, and Komi doesn’t know how to deal with her sudden flood of jealousy。 She can’t just explain what’s wrong, so she ends up spying on them from the shadows。 Will her creepy peeping lose her a chance at a new friend and push Tadano away?

No Saitama? No Garo? No Thank You。 Great art otherwise。

The lower ranked heroes get a chance to shine。。。 for a little while at least。

Still no Saitama

Its very amazing to see such characters come to life characters that were never in the actual anime I cant wait to see blasts face。

The One Punch Man manga keeps moving from strength to strength。 I love that this arc is exploring the S class heroes in more detail, as they face down super powered monsters。 Saitama is nearly non-existent in this volume, but that is ok because the supporting cast is SO interesting。

This volume introduced some of my new favorite heroes。 Captain Mizuki, Feather, and Needlestar have some of the coolest character designs。 The olympic athlete bit is both funny, and really cool to apply to combat。 I've mostly felt that the pro heroes were the weakest part of One Punch Man, but this arc has really taken the heroes up a notch。 Flash and Zombieman, in particular, are some of my favorites。 This volume introduced some of my new favorite heroes。 Captain Mizuki, Feather, and Needlestar have some of the coolest character designs。 The olympic athlete bit is both funny, and really cool to apply to combat。 I've mostly felt that the pro heroes were the weakest part of One Punch Man, but this arc has really taken the heroes up a notch。 Flash and Zombieman, in particular, are some of my favorites。 。。。more

This is definitely a set up volume for the big upcoming fight but I still enjoyed it! We got bombarded with a ton of new characters in this one that are Class A rank heroes and I am always in awe of the character designs of Yusuke Murata。 Captain Mizuki, Monster Roper Shell and Feather were my favorites of his new introductions。。。Can I also say that I just love this title page art? Fun seeing different heroes and their gigs but mostly a lead up to the bigger fight to come。

After some relatively normal chapters (I'm talking about the martial arts tournament arc), One Punch Man is finally back on track as the attack on the monster association is underway。 ONE has managed to keep his readers' attention with Saitama being made scarce。It is good that these class B and some other non-S class heroes are being given their time to shine。 They are not as formidable as the class S ones, but certainly pack a punch and are never just pushovers。 After some relatively normal chapters (I'm talking about the martial arts tournament arc), One Punch Man is finally back on track as the attack on the monster association is underway。 ONE has managed to keep his readers' attention with Saitama being made scarce。It is good that these class B and some other non-S class heroes are being given their time to shine。 They are not as formidable as the class S ones, but certainly pack a punch and are never just pushovers。 。。。more

Lots of wild new heroes get to strut their stuff in this one。 Meanwhile, Saitama wanders the sewers and King worries。

Love this series but it feels like a lull period before Saitama somehow saves the day with ease but gets no credit。 Enjoyed it but not enough Saitama :) still fun to read though。

Love the goofy heroes on display。 Wish there were more Garo and Saitama though。 Love King though

This volume ends better than it starts, but it's only getting 3 stars because it takes a very long time to actually do anything。 We get more build up to a giant battle where the heroes are supposed to be taking the fight to the monsters in their lair。 That would have been fine, but we spend too much time at the Hero Association building with bickering and drama before anyone actually sets out。 When they do decide to hit the road and the confrontation begins it hits it's stride and it's the OPM t This volume ends better than it starts, but it's only getting 3 stars because it takes a very long time to actually do anything。 We get more build up to a giant battle where the heroes are supposed to be taking the fight to the monsters in their lair。 That would have been fine, but we spend too much time at the Hero Association building with bickering and drama before anyone actually sets out。 When they do decide to hit the road and the confrontation begins it hits it's stride and it's the OPM that I wanted。 King is quickly becoming one of my favorite characters both for the humor and tension he can bring。 Blizzard and Tornado both show up in their tried and true form, which isn't to say it's boring to see either of them, but their is some predictability to what their story parts will be。 -Surprisingly little Saitama in this volume fwiw。 Not the worst entry in the series, but plot wise it's not doing much and I was frustrated by that。 。。。more

Just like Monster Association, Hero Association has no sync when it comes to battle。 Such a shame! Rumble in City Z!With the deadline to confronting the Monster association drawing nearer the Hero assosiation has their own plans to handle the threat looming over all of humanity。 Even with certain allies being excluded thanks to Garo's recent activities (who has been approached by the MA in previous volumes) some of the best heroes are now officially on the move so we get to see some of the biggest hitters in action at last (at least to a degree as the really big hitters are limited so far。) Y Rumble in City Z!With the deadline to confronting the Monster association drawing nearer the Hero assosiation has their own plans to handle the threat looming over all of humanity。 Even with certain allies being excluded thanks to Garo's recent activities (who has been approached by the MA in previous volumes) some of the best heroes are now officially on the move so we get to see some of the biggest hitters in action at last (at least to a degree as the really big hitters are limited so far。) Yet with catastrophe approaching the city Saitama is missing in action and no one knows where he is。 When it comes to the strongest hero we will have to see if he comes back before the action gets too serious or if (thanks to his incredible luck for getting into strange situations) he just ends up in MA headquarters and ends up showing them all why you shouldn't cause trouble for the Caped Baldy。 :) 。。。more

Onto Vol 20! Like the start of a very long anime fight。。。A crew of S-Class heroes (led by Child Emperor) featuring Tornado, Puri-Puri Prisoner, and Zombieman (as well as others), meet together to discuss rescue/assault plans。 When Class A Rank 1 hero Amai Mask joins the discussion, he ends up getting into a position to lead the team (maybe this will boost him to Class S) and their discussions continue。。。As King gets ready to go, he asks a group (Bang, Bomb, Genos, and Saitama) to help him, even Onto Vol 20! I hate when a Volume stops mid-battle, though I'm sure this one will go on for a while。 Will Saitama's true strength finally be revealed to the Hero Association?Still a great series。。。 recommend。 。。。more

Will Saitama and his friends join the heroes to fight against the monsters as he disappeared suddenly?!?! 3。5 starsI feel pretty much the same as I did for the last book, though this was (imo) a little bit funnier。 Plus, I really want the story to progress and that’s finally happening (I think/hope)。

This one was again a feast for the eyes but the main story did not progress it felt like a deliberate pause to sell another book。

The Heroes finally make an assault on City Z, so there's a lot of fight scenes。 Saitama isn't in this volume, as it focuses mainly on the B & C-class heroes acting as support。 There isn't much plot of characters, but there's a plethora of different heroes using their gimmicks to fight monsters and it's varied enough to not be dull。 The art is good, two, with several impressive double page spreads。 The Heroes finally make an assault on City Z, so there's a lot of fight scenes。 Saitama isn't in this volume, as it focuses mainly on the B & C-class heroes acting as support。 There isn't much plot of characters, but there's a plethora of different heroes using their gimmicks to fight monsters and it's varied enough to not be dull。 The art is good, two, with several impressive double page spreads。 。。。more
